The loss of a child is one of the most devastating experiences a parent can endure. The grief, the guilt, and the endless questions can feel impossible to put into words. This is my wife's and my own story, but it is also the story of countless other families navigating unimaginable loss in a broken world. To bridge the gap between the isolating pain of grief and the hope of renewal, I sought out the voices of fathers who have walked this path--men like me, who have lost, but are learning to live again. Holding Onto the Light gives voice to that struggle through the story of Myles, a young father who has experienced profound loss. In his search for healing, Myles retreats inward, seeking refuge in the solitude of his own mind. But within that space, he encounters an unexpected visitor--one who leads him on a journey through the stories of other fathers who have endured the same heartbreak. Through their words and wisdom, Myles must confront his own grief and face a choice: remain hidden behind the mask of survival or step boldly into the unknown, embracing the pain in pursuit of healing.
