Half Two: The Quest for a God-Honoring Encore - Paperback

by Ward Tanneberg (Foreword by), Dick And Ruth Foth (Foreword by), Amy Hanson (Foreword by)

If you've ever wondered about what God is calling you to do with your remaining years, Half Two helps guide you on a quest to make it WHOLE, make it HIS, and make it COUNT.

As we pursue a God-honoring encore in the Land of Life Over Fifty, we must remember: God is not wanting us to fade into the sunset. He wants us to steward our life experiences and other significant God-given resources to continue spreading His love to others.

Half Two navigates this sometimes-bumpy terrain and provides practical alternatives to generational segregation, self-absorption, and non-viral faith. It challenges and encourages you to choose God's higher purposes over complacency and to share our unique gifts, life experiences, wisdom, and time with younger generations.

Half Two is a reminder to those on this journey that our calling, stewardship, and willingness to learn must persist.

Author Biography

While serving actively in local churches, Wes has made his career in Christian college administration primarily in California, serving at Azusa Pacific University, Seattle University, Vanguard University, and Bethany University.

He also served for over a decade as a vocational rehabilitation consultant, primarily helping workers with injuries return to work.

Wes and his wife Judy have four incredible adult children, married to four wonderful spouses, and are grandparents to four (so far) unbelievable grandkids.

Their founding of YES! Young Enough to Serve in 2008 is well chronicled within this book, Wes' first. YES! is an interdenominational ministry focused on maximizing over-fifty adults' kingdom potential.
