In a thrilling finale to the Future Humans trilogy, "aliens" reveal their plans: a heroic effort to rebuild plant, animal, and human life on a scorched planet before it all becomes extinct.

The clock is ticking-for humanity, the planet, and time itself. Jace, a 21st-century engineer, his psychologist wife Sara, and their two children, Grace and Tom, return to the 31st century on a mission to heal the Earth from the devastating effects of climate change. But this time, the stakes are higher, and the journey across time more perilous than ever.

While Grace brings a play to unite children from different centuries and Sara fosters emotional intelligence and creativity, Jace collaborates with Aereon, a future-human mission leader, to locate Tora, a spirited time traveler lost in history. Their search leads to Leiden, where Tora, torn between newfound independence and duty, joins them to track down a rogue device threatening the fabric of time itself. Together, they race across the globe-from the Netherlands to the Orkney Islands, Tulum, and London-facing challenges that demand urgent innovation, courage, and hope.

Meanwhile, Grace and Tom uncover startling truths about the future: humanity has retreated underground to survive a scorching planet, evolving into what we now call "aliens." The siblings find themselves inspired to ignite change in their century as they learn about scientific breakthroughs to reverse climate damage.

From aiding a struggling Mayan civilization with futuristic tools to unraveling the unintended consequences of time travel, the characters blend humor, empathy, and resilience to solve the crisis. A gripping tale of action, innovation, and humanity's enduring creativity, Future Humans 3 urges readers to confront today's climate challenges with hope for tomorrow.

Can ordinary citizens rewrite humanity's future? Time will tell.
