It has been a pleasure to work with Dr. Rosalyn King in the international development arena. This book offers her map of success and reminds us that you can have every material item imaginable, yet have nothing if you do not allow your compassion to be your "compass." Dr. King vividly shows that you can carve a path on which no others have embarked. When your faith and self-confidence are strong, they form a lifelong professional platform. I am quite proud to be a friend and colleague of Dr. Rosalyn King. Keep this priceless book in your library as a professional and life guide!

In From Watts to the World..., Dr. King, my mentor, colleague, and friend, shares so much of the essence of her professional and human being. Her personally unique journey through and beyond the pharmacy profession casts a dramatic light on life's possibilities. This book brilliantly illustrates the important interplay between pharmacy and public health, the challenges of social and health disparities around the world, and the far-reaching impact of servant leadership. Dr. King's challenge to "leave your footprint in the sands of time" is a true inspiration for us all!
