Finally, Darlene: A Feel-Good Uplifting Later-In-Life Novel - Hardcover

by Dali Krein (Author)

Who said happily ever after can't happen in your golden years?

It took Darlene seventy-six years to finally figure out she ought to live life for herself. Decades of a loveless marriage to a man who couldn't care less have left her yearning for feeling butterflies again, for someone who excites her and truly see who she is. So when she meets Dan, a charismatic man with his own baggage, their instant chemistry awakens desires Darlene never felt before.

As the two become closer, Darlene discovers the woman she has always been waiting to become - carefree, wild at heart, and deeply passionate. But the path to happiness is anything but smooth, as both Darlene and Dan struggle to break free from old patterns of mistrust and unhappy marriages that seem too set in stone to ever end.

Ready to confront her past to ignite her future, Darlene must decide how far she is willing to go for love, and whether she is willing to leave everything behind for a new chance at life. Can she find the courage to leave her husband and finally get the man of her dreams, or will the ghosts of their past keep them apart?

Finally, Darlene is a heartwarming and light-hearted story of a woman's journey to self-discovery that proves love knows no age, perfect for fans of Judy Leigh and Fiona Gibson.
