Even Odds: High School Edition - Paperback

by Karen Petras (Illustrator), Raymond Karelitz (Author)

"Roberto Gonzalez is new in school, but he isn't going unnoticed. Janet is fascinated by this quiet, yet confident young man. Tony is also aware of Roberto's presence, but not for the same reason. Janet is his girlfriend--or maybe she WAS his girlfriend. Three is an odd number, an unacceptable number for Tony, and now it is time for him to even the score. But little does he suspect just who the mild-mannered Berto Gonzalez really is." EVEN ODDS is a Vocabulary-building novel involving teenagers in an exciting coming-of-age experience. Innovatively-formatted in-context definitions accompany key SAT/ACT words for easy reading and immediate vocabulary-building.
