Eat to Focus: The Not-so-Obvious Natural ADHD Treatment Protocol to Reduce Hyperactivity & Impulsivity, and Better Focus and Memory - Paperback

by Anna O. Tai (Author)

Anna Tai is a Registered Dietitian and Board-certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition, and also a parent herself with a child with ADHD. She helped her crazy wild ADHD child who couldn't read or write overcome her lack of focus and hyperactivity, and become a merit scholarship student majoring in premed at Loyola Chicago University. Remember ADHD does not doom your child to a life of under-achievement. You know your child is bright, full of potential, and deserves the best. In fact, many of the world's greatest discoveries and inventions were made by people with ADHD.Inside this book, you'll learn why your ADHD child is always hungry, why he or she seems addicted to milk and bread, the underlying causes of ADHD, and the most effective ADHD treatment that addresses all the causes to reduce hyperactivity, impulsiveness, and anxiety while improving focus and calmness in your ADHD child. When you have high blood pressure or pre-diabetes, your doctor often gives you a warning first and suggests that you start eating healthier and exercising before starting blood pressure medication. Why don't they do the same for kids with ADHD? Did you get a warning first to change your child's eating and lifestyle? Why is every doctor so quick to start ADHD medication, which has more severe side effects than blood pressure medications? WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT THIS BOOK?"I'm a psychologist that specializes in ADHD and one of my 3 boys has it. He's 9 and I don't medicate him but carefully watch him to see if he needs that medication. I use Anna's book and blog as one of my favorite resources on healthy choices for all my kids and my clients." RUXANDRA L."I just got the book "Eat to Focus". In the first chapter, I cried happy tears. I have highlighted so much in just the first few chapters. So helpful, so encouraging and so very well written." JANET M.
