Did God Forsake Jesus on the Cross? - Paperback

by Karla Oakley Anderson (Author)

"Did God forsake Jesus on the cross?" If so, why? If not, why did Jesus say it? Most explanations seem to be too theological instead of logical. Sadly, the extrapolation of a few random verses of scripture coupled with a lack of understanding of prophecy or Jewish culture has promulgated an image of an angry God against mankind; even One who could coldly turn His back on His own Son. Get ready for a treasure hunt of the true riches found in the timeless ancient scriptures. Prepare your heart for a revelation so rewarding that it will elevate your love and respect for the Savior of mankind and prove that Jesus was and still is the true Messiah, the Lord of Lords and the returning King of Kings! Karla Oakley Anderson fell in love with the Lord Jesus at age five during Vacation Bible School and her passion has not waned for over 55 years. After attending seminary classes at The College of Emporia in Kansas, she served 15 years in full-time Christian Ministry as Publisher of a children's magazine, the Director of Children's Ministries, and the coordinator and speaker for Christian Women's Conferences throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Later she received her diploma in Funeral Education and worked as a Funeral Assistant. In the Raleigh area, she was Associate Minister in two churches, performed weddings and officiated funerals. Currently, The Great Commission has stirred her heart to "Go, make disciples, teaching them" in Bible Study home groups. She is married to Mario Anderson, her gift from God, and has two grown sons, two step-children and one grandson. Jeremiah 20: 9, 10 expresses her heart's cry - "If I say 'I will not mention Him or speak anymore in His name, ' His Word is in my heart like a fire, shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed I cannot."
