You would be best to read and practice this module before paying thousands of dollars to become a Micro-pigmentation Technician. In this book the idea has been to develop a quick reference guide for the new Cosmetic Tattooist. With a Syllabus focus outcome, which indicates the knowledge, understanding and skills expected to be acquired by most students by the end of a stage as a result of effective teaching and learning. Book heading are derived from the syllabus objectives, and present a sequence of learning for each stage and take into account prior and subsequent learning of students. In this case the beauty diploma.During several decades of teaching I found Assumptions about the transfer of learning information, accompany the belief that it is better to broadly "educate" people than simply "train" them to perform particular tasks. The transfer of learning is guided by theories that emphasized the similarity between conditions of learning and conditions of transfer. Initial learning is necessary for transfer. How many cosmetic tattoo procedures have you watched others performing? You need to be connected to others that are performing this art. In this day and age, you can watch other technicians on YouTube. Keep an open mind because, not all technicians on YouTube are conducting the art correctly, yet they think they know enough to made a video. Never be critical of them, it is very hard producing videos and even the best of us get it wrong on video. Eventually you will be thankful that you know more, because you have decided to be a great technician and you are privileged. Build yourself, a protocol book. You will find a protocol book a valuable tool. In these pages I will guide you through the setup in manufacturing your protocol book. Knowledge that is overly, contextualized can reduce transfer; abstract representations of knowledge can help promote transfer. Therefore, our Beauty School Books are to be, considered, as a textual transfer. Without turning what you read into a practical, practice session you may not gain the transfer of this information/knowledge from me to you. Yet the practice information when practiced the way I have explained will aid the benefits of the information contained in these pages. It is important to be realistic about the amount of time it takes to learn complex subject matter. There are those that cannot learn from the written word and those that cannot learn without first reading instructions. As I do not know what type of student you are, I need to advise that after reading this information, practice the art and watch others. Then setup a protocol book. While reading you need to imagine I am your loving grandmother that wants the best for you. Imagine, I am there with you. Feed from my knowledge and do the research as well as read my work. Feedback has long been identified as important for successful learning. That is where a live teacher or senior therapist needs to engage in giving you feedback on your practice sessions. Your learning will have an impact on others. Therefore, it is your duty to learn this subject well. This book can guide you into a learning path, but it cannot be the end of your learning journey. nor the only method of your learning. Are you aware that not all beauty therapists are suited to perform micro-pigmentation procedures? You need a steady hand, good eyesight & be a person with a loving caring nature.
