Delina Delaney - Paperback

by Amanda McKittrick Ros (Author)

Amanda McKittrick Ros is a true unknown genius: her masterpiece Delina Delaney is an "inspired" work of fiction the likes of which will never be seen again.

Amanda McKittrick Ros was an Irish writer who is famous for creating "serious literature" so uncommonly and astonishingly bad that it is utterly hilarious to read. She is a cult figure in the world of words, inspiring many unsuccessful attempts at imitation and enjoying the admiration of many famous literary figures.

Delina Delaney, the final completed and most "ambitious" novel of the late great Amanda McKittrick Ros, has it all: love, romance, mystery, sudden death, murder, betrayal, alliteration, and an abundance of the wonderfully indecipherable prose for which Ros is most famous.

The first sentence is a masterpiece:

"Have you ever visited that portion of Erin's Plot that offers its sympathetic soil for the minute survey and scrutinous examination of those in political power, whose decision has wisely been the means before now of converting the stern and prejudiced, and reaching the hand of slight aid to share its strength in augmenting its agricultural richness?"

Amanda McKittrick Ros, universally acclaimed "Authoress" whose unique version of genius nearly transcends literature itself, displays the complete repertoire of her "talents" in Delina Delaney.

Amanda self published Delina Delaney and the only way to buy an original copy was to send her a letter and money, and if she was convinced that you were a sincere fan and not a critic she would mail a copy to you. This created a situation where the demand for the book was never satisfied and until now Delina Delaney has been rare and very expensive.

However, The Amanda McKittrick Ros Society has painstakingly and faithfully reproduced Delina Delaney (with a new cover that captures the beauty and confusion of the book) in both softcover and ebook formats, meaning you can now inexpensively add Amanda's masterpiece to your collection and enjoy THE WORST BOOK EVER WRITTEN by yourself and with all your best (and worst) friends.
