Defeating Heresies: A Catholic Evangelist Handbook for Saving Souls - Paperback

by Jerad P. Bisson (Author)

Evangelization is essential to Christianity, nearly every denomination of Christianity in one form or another has a means to evangelize for their church. Catholics are not experts at this and that's ok, because power is perfected in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 NASB). Many Catholics have trouble in a debate with an evangelical Christian because they usually are very well versed in the bible and Catholic's usually are lacking in this area. Wouldn't it be great if we didn't have to have all the scripture pertaining to our Catholic faith memorized in our minds so that we could simply pull out a book and turn to an already marked page to use scripture to counteract the heresies of our times? Well now you do, this book is meant to be used for Catholic evangelization. Evangelicals may be well versed in the bible, but they tend to avoid scripture that pertains to our Catholic faith. With this book you can present your reasons why you are Catholic effortlessly. All by using scripture and logic, I have written explanations to many of the reasons why we Catholics believe what we believe, and I have compiled plenty of scripture that supports all our beliefs. No more using your phone that won't load during a debate. No more taking to much time to search the scriptures to find the right verse with the short amount of time that you will have during your discussion, because people lose interest quickly and will stop listening. We have set out to help Christ save souls and to peak their interest. Simply mark each page that has scripture references so that you can quickly turn to them and instantly you have defended your case in the name of Christ and his bride the Catholic church. If used properly not another Catholic will be intimidated to stand firm in a religious debate with evangelicals, Its time to put on the armor of God! To speak boldly and proclaim the truth! To stand up for righteousness and Justice and to proclaim to the world and to the heresies that seek to overrun it, that the Catholic church belongs to Christ.
