Cut-Off Wheels 4" & 5" Thin Metal 50-Pack — 0.8mm Cutting Discs for Angle Grinders

These thin cut-off wheels are designed for metal and stainless steel, including mild steel, iron pipe, rebar, and sheet metal. They are not intended for masonry, tile, wood, or plastic.

The 4-inch discs are rated to 10,000 RPM and the 5-inch discs to 13,300 RPM. Never exceed the rated RPM of the disc or your grinder, whichever is lower.

Both sizes use a standard 7/8" (22.2mm) arbor, compatible with most angle grinders on the market. No adapter is required for standard grinders.

The discs are 0.8mm (approximately 1/32") thick — an ultra-thin profile that minimizes material loss and heat buildup for faster, cleaner cuts compared to standard 1mm+ discs.

Yes, as long as your grinder accepts a 7/8" (22.2mm) arbor and the disc diameter matches your grinder's guard size. The 4-inch disc fits 4" and 4.5" grinders; the 5-inch disc fits 5" grinders.

Hold the disc at 90° to the workpiece and apply steady, even pressure — let the wheel do the cutting. Avoid side pressure or twisting, which can cause disc breakage. Always use the grinder's guard and keep bystanders clear of the cutting plane.

Always wear ANSI-rated safety glasses or a face shield, cut-resistant gloves, and hearing protection. Ensure the grinder guard is properly installed and inspect each disc for cracks or chips before use. Discard any damaged disc immediately.
