Creonex - Paperback

by Willow Grace (Author)

Creonex, the first installment of The Vindicta series, is set in a dimension torn by endless conflict, where Xaiye Vernet lives in seclusion on a war-torn Earth, with only the "book of everything" for company. When an otherworldly race of pale-scaled invaders, the Voxmor, launches a devastating assault, Xaiye's ordinary-looking book undergoes a stunning transformation. It morphs into a gleaming metal filigree known as Creonex, which becomes embedded in her hand and awakens her latent magical abilities.

Rescued by Avenlae, a deadly Delfungaye mercenary from the planet Silvacastra, who has been dispatched to find her, Xaiye learns of her extraordinary destiny. She is revealed to be the heir to the Delfungaye throne, destined to lead her people in a desperate struggle against the ruthless Voxmor.

Embarking on a journey to the distant planet Silvacastra, Xaiye encounters the mysterious Queen Novissime, who guides her in mastering her skills as a warrior and understanding the Delfungaye tribes. As she trains under the watchful eyes of Avenlae and the elite Delfungaye warriors, Xaiye unearths the ancient origins of the mystical metal filigree adorning her hand-revealing its legendary connection to the very architects of the cosmos. She needs to master and control its power while discovering her role among the winged members of the Delfungaye tribes. This journey draws her nearer to her fate and to the dangerous mercenary who has been cast out by the very people Xiaye is destined to lead.

As cosmic warfare engulfs the realms in chaos, Xaiye embraces her formidable destiny at the forefront of the battle against the Voxmor's dark forces. In an epic climax, teetering on the edge of oblivion, she grapples with an ultimate choice that will determine the very fabric of existence itself. Blending of fantasy and science fiction, this gripping saga weaves a tale of courage, sacrifice, and one woman's perilous quest to shape the destiny of all creation-whether as its forerunner of salvation or its announcer of doom.
