Cell Phones and The Dark Deception: Find Out What You're Not Being Told...And Why - Paperback

by Carleigh Cooper (Author)

"As a concerned physician, I have researched electro-pollution and its effects since cell phones were first introduced. I commend Carleigh for her courage and diligence in writing this long awaited, much needed and well documented exposé about the hazards that non-ionizing microwave radiation pose to living systems. She also makes us aware of the lack of regulation." Carla A. Visha, M.D.

Cell Phones and The Dark Deception is a must read for every cell phone user. It's a comprehensive, heavily referenced, easy-to-understand non-fiction book that scrutinizes the evidence to resolve a question that's been lingering since 1993: Are Cell Phones Safe?

After years of an incessant influx of seemingly unrelated health disorders experienced by her late husband, Carleigh Cooper began an exhaustive search to identify his problem and pinpoint the cause. Steve had been building and testing high power microwave amplifiers for cell tower base stations for more than a decade when he started suffering from chronic headaches, nausea, fatigue, and convulsive vomiting bouts. As time went on, the list of abnormalities grew and so did the severity of his symptoms. Prior to his tragic death at age 48, Steve was diagnosed with toxic encephalopathy-brain damage due to carcinogenic exposure. The prognosis? Brain tumor or brain cancer. There seemed to be a direct correlation between his myriad of symptoms and his long-term, close-range exposure to non-ionizing radiofrequency microwave radiation (i.e. wireless communication signals). Carleigh's research proved there was.

By peppering pieces of her personal story atop the nearly 300 references from world renowned scientists, biophysicists, epidemiologists, and industry-hired experts, Cell Phones and The Dark Deception becomes a distinctively moving annex that not only identifies a serious problem cell phone users have a right to know, but one that brings the potential outcome of its effect into a painful reality. Carleigh's sincerity and transparency right from the beginning will capture your heart and make this informative publication difficult to put down.

Cell Phones and The Dark Deception is one of the most comprehensive compilations of scientific data on wireless communication signals and how they impact the human body. This is the first work of its kind to expose alarming truths about the cell phone industry; to leak insider secrets; to identify 25 serious and unknown exposure-related health risks; to provide insight on cell tower regulation, placement, and hazards; to blow the lid off numerous deceptions that have led cell phone users to believe their mobile devices are safe; and to offer safety tips proven to reduce exposure and minimize risk.

After reading Cell Phones and The Dark Deception there will no longer be any speculation. All your questions will be answered and you will finally understand why there are so many contradicting reports; why a multitude of health risks are being concealed; why the public is being led to believe brain tumors and brain cancer are the only threats; and why top scientific researchers, even some governments, are warning parents to keep cell phones away from children.

There's no denying that cell phones are here to stay, but while the industry believes users are willing to assume some level of risk, you have a right to know exactly what those risks are. If exposure-related symptoms aren't recognized as such, prolonged exposure will likely result in irreversible damage. Ignoring the facts doesn't change them.

Author Biography

Carleigh Cooper began researching the effects of wireless radiation on the human body in 2001, when over 35 different doctors and specialists were unable to determine the cause of her late husband's illness. For 16 years he built the power microwave amplifiers for cell tower base stations. During that time he developed numerous, seemingly unrelated symptoms which after a decade led to a diagnosis of brain damage and a prognosis of brain tumor/cancer.

Today, armed with factual data, supported by scientific evidence from industry-hired experts, independent researchers and other reliable sources, this dynamic woman shares her tragic story and informs cell phone users of worrisome facts and known risks, empowering them to make wise decisions about their exposure.

Carleigh has a B.A. degree in Psychology and a minor in Communication Arts. She has two beautiful daughters and a new grand daughter. Happily remarried, she enjoys life on Florida's Gulf Coast.
