Carrington has brought her expertise as a California lawyer to numerous startup businesses. A graduate of Lincoln Law School, she spent her career in the heart of Silicon Valley. The captivating results in Business Structures and Incorporation is a slender but comprehensive view describing what structures make the most sense, choice of name and business entity, sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability companies, corporations, management, corporate records, changes in corporate structure, stock matters, capital stock structures, employee and other matters, tax matters, and doing business in other states. Including sample agreements, forms, and checklists.

"Working in corporate law for more than twenty years, I had written many articles about business processes and procedures, corporate governance, and legal matters," says Carrington. "Along the way, I became fascinated by the large number of "mom and pop" businesses not properly structured, protected, or planned because of lack of knowledge or money to afford an attorney; subsequently, I spent time organizing my articles, and the main information in my books is loosely based on those articles during the time period in which matters took place."
