Becoming the Connect with my First Love - Paperback

by Cyn (Author)

They say puppy love is the purest form of love...

Innocent and sweet. A space to explore, where first kisses are experienced and butterflies in tummies run wild. A place where trust is given so easily, and the future always seems bright. Puppy love is young and carefree where cheating and heartbreak don't exist.

That isn't the case for Monnie and Merit...

Their love is all-consuming, but it doesn't only consume them. It consumes everyone in their path. They're infamous in their hood, and their love is legendary, but it didn't come easy. Their love creates millions of dollars and also kills thousands of people. Their love flips drugs, women, guns... you name it, but it also holds steadfast against the people who want what they can't have.

Their love also doesn't die like puppy love...

It isn't young, and it ain't innocent. Nothing about their love is traditional, and it never was. Some may even say it's rotten to the core, but to understand their story, you have to meet them where they're at. In their hood... Harlem born and bred. Step into the streets and take a walk in their Timbs so you can really understand how they came to be who they are today.

Their story starts when they were just shorties in junior high school tryna find their place in this messed up world.

Oh, and one more thing... you're either going to love them or hate them... but one thing is for sure, you're going to put some respect on their love because the saying rings true... there's something about that first love... and one thing they don't play about is their love for one another.
