Bear Snores on - Board Book

by Karma Wilson (Author), Jane Chapman (Illustrator)

A classic story that is now turning ten years old!

In BEAR SNORES ON, Bear is sleeping peacefully through winter in his cave. When a little mouse creeps into the cave and builds a warm little fire, Bear continues to sleep. Hare comes to join Mouse and they snack by the fire...but Bear keeps sleeping. Badger joins the party with honey nuts to share; then come Gopher, Mole, Wren, and Raven, but Bear sleeps straight through the fun. When Bear finally sneezes and awakes, he's not too happy! But after he gnarls, snarls, growls and grumbles, whimpers, moans, and groans, he becomes the perfect host. Only when day breaks, all of his guests fall asleep leaving Bear wide awake. This humorous story with charming illustrations is now available in the Classic Board format perfect for little readers.
