Badd Apple - Paperback

by Jasinda Wilder (Author)

I'm THE Hunter Hawkins. I'm sure you've heard of me. Billionaire at age 30 and one of the most famously eligible bachelors on the planet. I rule my little empire from my corner office in Manhattan overlooking Fifth Avenue. I have everything I want and more, yet despite that...I'm restless and bored. Perhaps even lonely.

Always a risk taker, I go out on a limb and decide to fly alone to Ketchikan, Alaska to research and prepare a pitch for investment in a family-owned business named Badd's Bar and Grille. I don't want all of their company-I don't even want a piece of it. I just want the challenge of convincing them to let me be a part of what they've got going on.

It turns out the business side of things is the easy part.

The hard part? Delia Badd.

She may be the last woman on earth to know who I am, and she's beautiful, bold, witty, sarcastic, fascinating...and allergic to love and commitment.

I always get everything I want...

AND I WILL GET HER TO FALL FOR ME.

* * *

A gorgeous, arrogant man breezes into my bar one day and captures my attention the moment I lay eyes on him, but I'm not looking for love.

My best friend and adopted sister, Emerson, claims the infamous Badd Family Love Charm is coming for me next; the joke's on her, though, because I will not let that happen.

I have clinically awful taste in men, for one thing. And for another, I refuse to be the first person in my family to screw up love. I mean, look at our track record. Every adult in my family has met, fallen in love, and found happily ever after when the Love Charm strikes. You can't screw something up if you refuse to let it happen in the first place, right?

So yeah, no matter how hot this "Hawk" may be, no matter how rich he obviously is, no matter how scorching, mind-altering, and life-changing our physical chemistry may be, I'm dead-set on one thing:

I WILL NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM.
