Bacterial Vaginosis explains the problems associated with this often misunderstood condition and gives details of the best ways to deal with it. It starts with the need to get a good diagnosis of Bacterial Vaginosis, goes on to explain all of the different treatments that can be used and then explains how to keep yourself free of it in the future. The emphasis is on being in control of your treatment and includes details of the best home cures that can be used. As with all embarrassing conditions Bacterial Vaginosis is little talked about, except by women who suffer from it, and even then it isn't something that you can readily slip into polite conversation. Even Doctors have difficulty talking about it with their patients. This is because Bacterial Vaginosis is a very misunderstood condition. It is misunderstood by both the women who end up with it and often by Doctors, the very people who are expected to treat it. Women go to the doctor expecting an accurate diagnosis and to get a treatment that will work quickly. For most general illnesses this works out well and the doctor sorts out your painful knees or sore throat so that you can get on with your life. With Bacterial Vaginosis, however, things might not work out so neatly. Often doctors only have one treatment in mind and when it doesn't work they want to give the same treatment over and over again. As a result when a woman goes to the doctor she needs to be clued up about Bacterial Vaginosis so that she is ready to ask questions about it and the treatment that she is given. This book will give you the information that you need so that you can be confident when dealing with health professionals. This book explains a range of alternative treatments that can be undertaken at home. The emphasis is in finding something that works for you. Many women have found that what works for one person will not work so well for another. Try the home cures and find out which one or combination is right for you. The one thing that most women want is to be free of Bacterial Vaginosis. They don't want it to keep coming back. As a result the book spends a lot of time helping you to devise a strategy that will help to keep you BV free.
