Back To You - Paperback

by Katy Michele (Author)

After spending seven years running as far as she could from her past, Annie Mitchell is no longer recognizable as the person she used to be. The shy, quiet girl who thought she was more harm than good was replaced by a woman who isn't afraid to be herself, no longer scared to take up the space she deserves. The only part of her past she couldn't run away from was Luke Owens-the boy who broke her heart.

Luke Owens has spent the past seven years trying to figure out what happened the night the only girl he's ever loved left without a trace, only to find her working at a bar he happened to walk into after months of radio silence, recognizing her on the outside but not the inside. She was different-more confident, more sure of herself, and Luke couldn't help but want to get to know this new Annie. But, when Luke and her become co-workers, she refused to even acknowledge their past.

Years go by, and Annie won't let Luke in-no matter how hard he tries to get over the walls she's built-until her apartment gets broken into, and she needs a place to stay. Luke is the first to offer Annie stays with him, in hopes to use this opportunity to figure out where him and Annie went wrong and win her back once and for all.

Becoming roommates, even if it's temporary, may just be the second chance for two people who never truly stopped loving each other. Their story is one about loving with all you have because sometimes love is worth every risk.
