The Arai Helmets Signet-X Robotik Helmet is engineered for riders who prefer a narrow fit with a pronounced forehead profile, featuring a long oval shape that enhances comfort and stability during rides. Its design incorporates a Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism, which improves the shell’s shape and provides a secure, intuitive shield operation. The VAS latch ensures the shield stays firmly closed, preventing accidental openings, while the larger latch facilitates smooth, one-handed operation for quick adjustments on the move. The helmet’s shell employs Peripherally Belted Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC), combining advanced materials to deliver durability and performance at an accessible price point. The VAS shield system lowers the pivot point by an average of 24 mm, resulting in a smoother surface in the temple area that better absorbs impact energy and enhances overall safety.
The Signet-X features QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, providing excellent airflow management. Even with the front shutter closed, the side vents function as exhaust ports, ensuring optimal ventilation throughout your ride. The helmet’s FCS® Cheek Pads are contoured with multiple foam densities supported by a foam “spring,” offering a snug fit that blocks wind noise and increases comfort. Its water-repellent, removable ES chin cover not only enhances the helmet's aesthetic but also improves exhaust from the mouth area, reducing heat buildup. The odor-resistant liner material resists bacteria, maintaining freshness over extended use.
