Its peripherally belted super complex laminate construction (PB-SCLC) shell design combines multiple materials and advanced techniques to deliver optimal performance and affordability, providing reliable protection in a lightweight package. The long oval shape, achieved by increasing the space of the EPS liner front to back and decreasing side-to-side, is tailored for riders with a narrow head and a pronounced forehead, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit for such head shapes. The helmet includes a larger latch for intuitive and seamless shield operation, complemented by the Variable Axis System (VAS) that lowers the shield pivot point by approximately 24 mm, resulting in a smoother shell surface around the temple area and improved impact energy dispersion. Equipped with QVF three-position intake vents and QVR exhaust ducts, the helmet ensures excellent airflow, promoting cooling and reducing rider fatigue. Even when the front shutter on the top duct is closed, a side vent continues to serve as an exhaust, maintaining effective ventilation. The Pinlock® 120 lens included provides fog-resistant clarity, essential for maintaining visibility in diverse riding conditions.
