ARAI Helmets Regent-X Helmet with VAS Shield System - Medium, Yellow

The ARAI Helmets Regent-X Helmet features an innovative Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism designed for quick, easy, and intuitive operation. The VAS latch securely holds the shield closed, preventing accidental openings, while the larger latch ensures seamless shield adjustments. The shield's shape enhances safety by improving the helmet's ability to glance off objects during impact, thanks to a smooth shell along the Snell test line in the temple area. This design feature contributes to better energy dispersion and rider protection. The helmet's intermediate oval shape provides a comfortable fit for the majority of head shapes in North American markets, ensuring a snug and secure feel during rides. Additionally, the VAS pivot cover is smaller and lower, increasing the area above the cover for enhanced airflow and visual clarity. The shell utilizes Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-CLC), making it both lightweight and stronger, which improves durability without adding weight. The helmet includes an adjustable perimeter liner and cheek pads, allowing users to customize the fit for maximum comfort and security. FCS® Cheek Pads feature a contoured shape, supported by multiple foam layers and a foam spring, to cradle the face and block wind noise effectively. The one-piece exhaust vent is designed to optimize airflow, improve aerodynamics, and enhance heat dissipation. The top exhaust vent remains open at all times, aiding in moisture removal and reducing shield fogging. The shell flares 5 mm around the base, making it easier to put on and take off while maintaining a secure fit with FCS2 cheek pads. The soft-brushed, removable liner provides exceptional comfort and is easy to clean, ensuring the helmet stays fresh over time. Weighing approximately 22 pounds, the Regent-X helmet combines advanced safety features with comfort and practicality, making it an excellent choice for riders seeking reliable head protection in a bright yellow finish.
