The ARAI Helmets Regent-X features an intermediate oval shape designed to fit the majority of head shapes common in North American markets, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit for most users. Its innovative VAS latch system captures and holds the shield closed, reducing the risk of unexpected opening during rides. The larger latch provides intuitive and seamless shield operation, allowing for quick adjustments even while on the move. Additionally, the smaller VAS pivot cover yields more space above the cover, enhancing ease of use and overall helmet ergonomics.

Constructed with a Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-CLC) shell, the helmet offers a lightweight yet durable exterior capable of withstanding impacts. The shell’s smooth profile along the Snell test line in the temple area aids in deflecting objects during impact, providing enhanced safety. The helmet’s shape is further refined by the Variable Axis System (VAS), which improves the shape of the shell for optimal protection and aerodynamics. An adjustable perimeter liner and cheek pads allow users to customize the fit precisely to their head size, boosting comfort during extended wear.

The FCS® Cheek Pads feature a contoured design with multiple layers of foam supported by a foam “spring,” which cradles the face and effectively blocks wind noise. The soft-brushed, removable liner enhances comfort and enables easy cleaning, maintaining hygiene and freshness over time. The top exhaust vent remains open at all times, facilitating heat extraction and moisture relief in the eye port area to prevent shield fogging. An improved one-piece exhaust vent enhances overall exhaust performance and aerodynamic stability, contributing to a quieter, more streamlined ride. The helmet’s shell flares 5 mm around the base, making it easier to don and doff while maintaining a secure fit with the FCS2 cheek pads, ensuring safety and convenience in one package.
