Ancient History Cookbook - Paperback

by Meredith Curtis (Author)

Learn History the Fun Way-in Your Kitchen! If you want to teach history the fun way (from a biblical worldview), include cooking and baking to explore the time period, geographical area, and people you are studying. In our house, we love to cook and bake to learn history. We time travel right in the kitchen starting in the Garden of Eden all the way up to the Roman Empire.

Use our faith-based Ancient History Cookbook in your world history studies or homeschool co-op. Cook and bake your way through time with recipes we've updated for modern times. Some recipes are from modern times but use ingredients from the ancient civilization. NOTE: pages are black and white.

Here are some of the recipes we enjoy. You can make them in your kitchen and travel back in time. There are over 60 recipes in this cookbook including:

• Ice Age Slushies
• Esau's Birthright Lentil Stew
• Ruth's Barley Squares
• Ezekiel Bread
• Pythagoras' Cinnamon Right Triangles
• Marathon Honey Puffs
• Plato's Spanakopita
