ALAN GART is Professor of Finance at Lehman College of the City University of New York and Visiting Professor at Columbia University's Graduate School of Business. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Investent Officer at CIGNA/INA Corporation. His works include Handbook of the Money and Capital Markets (Quorum, 1988), An Insider's Guide to the Fianncial Services Revolution, and Banks, Thrifts and Insurance Companies: Survival in the 1980s.
