America's Greatness From A to Shining Z: ASL Coloring Book: Learn About American History and the Fundamentals of American Sign Language - Paperback

by 1 Smart Cookie Publications (Author), Maddy Dean (Author)

Are your children and students taught at home or school about America's exceptionalism? President Reagan said, in his 1989 Farewell Address to the Nation, "An informed patriotism is what we want. And are we doing a good enough job teaching our children what America is and what she represents in the long history of the world?... We've got to do a better job of getting across that America is freedom -- freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of enterprise. And freedom is special and rare. It's fragile; it needs [protection]."

This book is designed to spotlight America's greatness and enlighten today's youth on the extraordinary country they live in. At the same time, this coloring book also teaches the fundamentals of American Sign Language - ASL is presently and will be in the future, an essential skill needed to communicate with the growing number of those with autism and other disabilities.
