Fate is quite talented at leading us down unexpected paths in crazy ways and love functions just the same.Bobby is instantly ignited with passion when he first meets Maria. A random encounter mixed with inefficient customer service is the formula that brings them together. Neither of them could imagine that they would become so close by exploring the wonders of Canada. Soon Bobby's pursuit to learn more about this lovely country transforms into a mission to learn more about Maria. Once he glimpses the beauty of her soul, he decides he will never let her go.As time wears on, their relationship grows and blossoms. Spending time together soon becomes living together and when their romance reaches its peak they decide to get married. Never happier in his life, Bobby treats his wife to the best way he knows how; taking her to wonderful places, buying her thoughtful gifts, and showering her with love. To Bobby, she was the only woman in the world; nothing could compare. Who would guess that the one thing he cherished the most, would be the only thing to break him.Things take a turn for the worst when Maria starts acting strangely. The fire in her soul has dimmed and soon Bobby no longer sees the same woman he met. Day by day she withdraws from him until he loses her completely. Relentless in his pursuit of love, Bobby chases Maria in hopes of getting her back. But the more he tries, the more that hope dies.A vow owed is a story of how love blooms and then withers in hopes of being rekindled once more. This romantic novel recounts the trials and struggles of an average marriage in a way mainstream media is unable to highlight. We follow the life of Bobby and Maria as their souls embrace, entwine, and regrettably unravel. When you connect with another human being, you leave a piece of you with them and they leave a piece of them with you. Severing that connection can shatter our souls and send us in a downward spiral. We go from our best to our worst. We become empty shells housing damaged hearts.A vow owed delicately explores topics such as interracial romance, the struggles of marriage, and the painful toll of going through a divorce. We follow the lives of a couple that seemed to have been brought together by Fate and separated by flaws. Through this tale, we learn that love is generous, forgiving, and boundless.
