A Scoundrel Through Time - Paperback

by Christine M. Walter (Author)

Win the heart of a 19th-century goddess who happens to be my best friend's sister?

Let the fun begin.

For Alex Westcott, time travel was as easy as walking through a door. The perks were top-notch since he could step through a floor-length mirror anytime to visit his best friend, Bradley, who lived in the same castle two hundred years prior. All fun and games aside, time travel came with unseen struggles. The disappearance and search of a fellow time-traveling friend weighs heavily over the years, and he's the only one who might find her-without any luck.

A delightful distraction comes when he learns his best friend has a newfound sister-a gorgeous one, to be precise. Regrettably, however, Aphrodite holds grudges against Alex due to his dismal first impression. She has all the spunk to keep him at arm's length, no matter how much he flirts.

Challenge accepted.

There is only one problem: her guard dog brother, Bradley.

Aphrodite begrudged her late mother for withholding the identity of her father. She missed eighteen years that she could've had with the Earl of Atholl. How could her beloved mother have kept a secret such as this? Once her guardian aunt falls ill, Aphrodite is sent to live with him, allowing her to meet her new family. The change becomes easier when her father and brother, whom she never knew, happily welcome her into their home. However, an unfortunate guest Mr. Westcott, a vexatious yet handsome rake, often lives with them. Why must he always be trailing about, especially during her first Season in London? Why does he behave like he's withholding a secret? And why couldn't her heart stop racing whenever he so much as glanced her way?
