31 Ways to Knit a Hat - Paperback

by Agnese Iskrova (Author)

Imagine the yarn you have sitting there in front of you as an unlimited canvas. It has the magic potential to become anything. Have you always wanted to make magic? Do you love love love making and creating? All you knit is love: every hat you make will keep someone warm, it equals hugging a loved one every time they wear a garment you made for them, one stitch at a time, each stitch filled with love and care. This book is here to help you if you want to make all sorts of hats! It is all about knitting hats. All sorts of hats. One of the most versatile and functional knits is a balaclava. That is a hat and scarf, two in one. There are several balaclava patterns here in this book - pick the look you like, pick the yarn weight, decide how thick and how warm yours should be, choose the size and make one for every member of your family! Balaclavas are the ultimate cold and cool weather hats for young children and for those who like to be on the move. The balaclava will stay put, it will keep the ears and neck covered, and no matter what you do and how much you move, it will keep you warm. It is also the best type of hat for skiing. Bonnets are the sweetest hats ever! Unlike any other hat, those cute hats with ties that can be fastened below the chin, will stay put no matter what the circumstances. The long knit or crochet ties are soft, yet durable, and so is the knit button strap. Rounded or pixie shape, pick the one you prefer! And an earflap hat! There is also an earflap hat! You can make it in thicker yarn, then add a pompom and you are ready for cold weather. At the end of the book there is a special bonus pattern - a cowl/scarf! It is a quick and functional knit, and it can be made in three yarn weights. It comes in various sizes to fit everyone. The hat patterns come in many sizes and are designed for different yarn weights.
