Fitment comes first

Choose by production period and physical front-caliper shape—not destination country alone.

Fremont-, Shanghai- and Berlin-built vehicles can use different caliper geometry. A VIN prefix is a useful first clue, but the visible shape of the front caliper is the final check.

Choose the generation

Identify Model Y 2020–2025.02 or refreshed Model Y Juniper 2025.03+ / Model YL 2026+.

Inspect the front caliper

Compare your actual caliper with the US/China and Berlin reference image before selecting.

Verify wheel clearance

Confirm spoke-to-cover space. Wheel diameter by itself does not guarantee clearance.

Tesla Model Y US and China front caliper compared with Berlin front caliper — US/China and Berlin calipers have visibly different outer structures. Match the physical part before ordering.

VIN is reference evidence, not the final answer.

5YJ often indicates Fremont, LRW Shanghai and XP7 Berlin. Production changes and vehicle history can create exceptions, so use the front-caliper shape to make the final selection.

About 19-inch Gemini and 20-inch Induction wheels

The covers are intended for compatible factory-wheel applications, but the inside-spoke profile and any vehicle modification still matter. Maintain clear space from wheel spokes, rotor, hose, bleeder and suspension through a full wheel rotation.

What the product changes

A fuller, colored caliper appearance over compatible factory brakes.

The formed aluminum shells add a clean outer face and a more pronounced visual shape behind the wheel. The factory caliper, pads, rotor and hydraulic system remain the working brake components.

Appearance accessory—not a brake upgrade

No increase in clamping force, shorter stopping distance or improved cooling is claimed. Diagnose brake noise, wear, overheating, fluid leaks or warning messages before installing any accessory.

Materials and ownership

Designed around the parts owners actually handle and see.

6061-T6 aluminum

Rigid formed shells

Metal construction gives each cover a defined surface and model-specific contour rather than a flexible overlay.

Color choice

A deliberate wheel-well accent

Select a finish to contrast the wheel and body color; available colors vary by the vehicle version chosen.

Service awareness

Inspectable and removable

Cover hardware should remain accessible for inspection. Remove the covers whenever brake service requires unobstructed access.

Installation decision

Watch the process first, then decide whether DIY is right for you.

The work requires wheel removal, correct retention and a 360° clearance check. A qualified installer is recommended; experienced owners can review the resources below and assess whether every brake-area step is familiar.

Before driving

With the vehicle safely supported, rotate each wheel by hand and inspect the full rotation. Confirm no contact with the wheel, rotor, hose, bleeder, valve stem or suspension; secure wheel fasteners to Tesla’s current specification and recheck cover hardware after initial use.

In the box

One four-wheel set with two lettering choices.

4 × aluminum caliper covers (2 front, 2 rear)
4 × white “TESLA” lettering stickers
4 × black “TESLA” lettering stickers

Model Y caliper-cover FAQ

How do I choose US/China or Berlin version?

Start with the VIN prefix and build location, then compare the vehicle’s actual front-caliper shape with the reference image. The physical caliper is the deciding evidence.

Does this fit Model Y Juniper or Model YL?

Yes, when the dedicated “Model Y Juniper 2025.03+ / Model YL 2026+” option matches the vehicle’s US/China or Berlin caliper configuration.

Does it fit Model Y Performance?

No. The listing specifically excludes the Performance brake configuration.

Will these covers improve braking?

No brake-performance improvement is claimed. They are cosmetic aluminum covers installed over compatible factory calipers.

Can I install them myself?

Experienced owners may watch the videos and assess the work. Choose professional installation if wheel removal, brake-area clearance checks or hardware retention are unfamiliar.

What should I know about returns?

Confirm the caliper version and dry-check every cover before applying lettering or road use. Installed, scratched or modified parts may not qualify; review the current refund policy.
