Description
Real carbon fiber · Side repeater surround
A carbon accent around the camera—selected by vehicle and factory.
This adhesive exterior cover follows a specific Tesla side-camera/turn-signal housing. The correct mold keeps the lens and signal area open while changing the surrounding finish.
- Real carbon fiber
- Eight fitment groups
- Four finish choices
- 3M adhesive listed
Choose the mold before the color
Model Y is split by factory and production period.
Tesla used different repeater housings across generations and factories. Use the live selector exactly; “Please Choose” is not a confirmed fitment.
| Live vehicle group | Current selector wording | Important check |
|---|---|---|
| Legacy Model 3 | Model 3 2017–2023 | Do not use for Highland. |
| Refresh group | Model 3 Highland 2024+ · Model Y Juniper 2025+ · Model Y Standard 2026+ · Model YL | Use the dedicated refreshed-housing mold. |
| Model Y · Germany | Model Y 2020–2024 (German Factory) | Factory is part of fitment. |
| Model Y · China | Model Y 2024 (China Factory) | Only the listed China period is offered. |
| Model Y · USA, early | Model Y 2020–2022 (USA Factory) | Separate from 2023–2024 mold. |
| Model Y · USA, later | Model Y 2023–2024 (USA Factory) | Separate from 2020–2022 mold. |
| Model S / X | Model S / X 2015–2020 | Dedicated legacy S/X option. |
| Please Choose | Placeholder only | Do not order until a real group is selected. |
VIN and registration year are not enough by themselves. Confirm build factory where the selector requires it, then compare the physical camera housing and lens opening with the product imagery.
Four surface characters
Color changes the visual role—not the fitment.
Classic carbon contrast
Reflective clearcoat makes the regular weave more visible.
Deliberate color accent
A red-toned carbon look rather than an OEM-style black match.
Irregular flake pattern
Non-woven carbon character with naturally varied pattern placement.
Pairing with other carbon parts: weave scale, direction, resin tone and topcoat can vary between products and batches.
Camera clearance is the acceptance test
Dry-fit the opening before exposing adhesive.
The cover is cosmetic and protective around the housing; it must never become an obstruction. Center the lens opening, verify the signal-light area and inspect every outer edge.
- Reject any fit that rocks, requires force or overlaps the lens/signal opening.
- After bonding, inspect all live side-camera views in good lighting.
- Do not drive with vignetting, reflection, a loose cover or any camera warning.
Package and installation
The current listing specifies one cover—not a left/right pair.
Package information currently states: 1 × side camera turn-signal cover and 1 × 3M double-sided adhesive. If you expect covers for both sides, confirm the unit quantity with TESERY before ordering.
Verify
Match vehicle, factory and housing shape; do not select the placeholder option.
Prepare
Remove wax, oil, dust and moisture with a surface-safe cleaner.
Align
Center the camera and signal openings before bonding any edge.
Set and test
Press evenly, let the adhesive set, then inspect the camera feed and perimeter security.
Independent owner context
See the scale and installation on a real Model Y.
This third-party video by gamble1080 shows a TESERY carbon side-camera exterior upgrade. Treat it as owner experience, not official service guidance; the exact vehicle mold and included quantity must still match the live selector.
Before you order
Side-camera cover FAQ
Does it fit Model 3 Highland, Model Y Juniper, Model Y Standard or Model YL?
Yes, those vehicles share one dedicated refresh-group selector. Choose it rather than a legacy Model 3 or pre-refresh Model Y factory option.
Why are Model Y options separated by factory?
The camera-housing geometry and production changeovers differ. The live selector separates Germany, China and two USA production periods; use the exact applicable group.
Does one order include both sides?
The current package text says 1 piece. Confirm quantity with TESERY if you want a matched two-side set.
Will it affect the camera?
Correct fitment should keep the lens open, but an incorrect or misaligned cover can affect the view. Dry-fit first and inspect the live feeds after installation.
What should I know about returns?
Confirm the mold, unit quantity and camera opening before exposing adhesive. Installed or adhesive-exposed items may have restricted eligibility; review the current refund policy.
Vehicle + factory → housing shape → finish
Fitment is the first decision. Carbon color is the last.
Confirm the listed one-piece package before checkout.
